GOSV Announces Operation AmeriCorps Funding Opportunity
The GOSV announces the availability of federal grants for Operation AmeriCorps program, a newly created program by the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS). Operation AmeriCorps will use national service as the transformative catalyst to address a community’s most pressing local problem.

GOSV Announces $199,000 in Volunteer Generation Funds
Eight volunteer connector organizations in Maryland, including six Maryland volunteer centers, have received funding from the Corporation for National and Community Service. The GOSV will distribute more than $199,000 funding to the organizations selected in this state-wide competitive process.

GOSV Announces 31st Annual Governor's Service Award Recipients
19 Maryland residents will be honored during the 2014 Governor's Service Awards. The ceremony took place October 9, 2014 at the Miller Senate Office Building in Annapolis, MD.

15th Annual Honor Rows Recipients

Together with the Baltimore Ravens and M&T Bank, the GOSV is honoring youth volunteer groups and organizations during the 15th Annual Honor Rows Program. During each Ravens home game throughout the 2014 regular season, the program will honor 14 youth groups or organizations that provide outstanding volunteer service to their communities.
